Dutch Spinach or Chard

A delicious and easy way of cooking a chard dish with a different texture in every bite. Great as a side dish.

  1. Begin by boiling your eggs till they are just hard, shell and set aside.
  2. Wash, destalk and chop your chard, but do not shake dry.
  3. Heat a large pan and melt the butter. When fully melted add the chard and place the lid on the pan.
  4. Cook for a few minutes until the chard is just wilted.
  5. Pour off any excess liquid. Add chopped boiled egg, nutmeg, breadcrumbs or crispbake and season. Serve immediately.
