Weekly Events

'Grow your Own' Tuesdays

Tuesdays, 10:00am
We offer fun and educational 'grow your own' sessions at our accessible allotment. Learn to grow organic fruit and vegetables, and look after wildlife in a mixed community group. No experience necessary, all tasks are shared according to ability and need, and sessions are taught accordingly by a professional organic gardener and permaculturalist, who holds her PTTLs teaching certificate. Learn to grow your own food, enjoy a seasonal soup with us and take home a share of the harvest each week.

Men' Shed Petworth

Wednesdays, 10:00am
We are offering a morning a week in our large accessible shed for local men to be able to meet together and produce crafts such as bird boxes, bat boxes, mushroom inocculated logs, hurdles, etc to sell at local events and Farmers markets as part of a co-operative. Visiting craftsmen will be invited, and all men are welcome to share their ideas and skills. Tea can be made on our fire, and seasonal soup from the garden will be offered for lunch.
